The professional equipment is available for our specialists to achieve the high quality of operations.

We are performing the operations to knee, shoulder, ankle and other joints necessary in case of various trauma, sprains, bruises or arthrosis resulting from overload, inflammation, fracture mal-union, and others.

The most of operations are performed arthroscopically. This is minimally invasive method allowing the patient to leave the clinic the next day due to short recovery period.

What is arthroscopy? What are its advantages? The word “arthroscopy” comes from two Latin words, “arthro” (joint) and “scope” (look). During arthroscopy, the “scope” – the 4-mm camera – is inserted into the joint through a small incision. Thus, the need to make large incisions reduces. Camera helps to observe the joint inside and make an accurate diagnosis for further surgical manipulations preventing the all types of damages to the joint ligaments and other structures.

What the name “CHIRONS” means?

In Ancient Greek mythology, Chiron (also Cheiron) was held to be the superlative centaur among his brethren. Centaurs were a composite race of creatures, part human and part horse. They were notorious for being violent, uncultured, and excessive drinkers. Chiron, by contrast, was intelligent, fair, civilized, and kind. Gods gave him the healer’s skills.

Chiron obtained his peaceful character and intelligence from Apollo, a god of light and the sun, having the knowledge in medicine, healing, music, poetry, the arts, and archery, as well as from Artemis, one of the most widely venerated of the Ancient Greek goddesses with knowledge not only in hunt and wild animals, but also in childbirth and illnesses.

In the course of time, Chiron became profoundly knowledgeable and was a teacher of Achilles, Heracles, Aeneas, Asclepius, and Jason. According to legend, Chiron invented the Zodiac – the belt of stars intended to help Jason, the leader of the Argonauts, to have better orientation in the sea. The Almighty Zeus, the god of sky and thunder, placed Chiron among the stars as constellation Sagittarius.

Also, nowadays in the night sky we can see constellation Sagittarius symbolizing the mighty centaur Chiron.
